Warm greetings to the People of the Heartland!
In days long past, the warriors of Calontir counted the days between the longest night of the year and the moment we travelled together to the burning sands of Estrella, for it was the thought of the warm sun on our faces and the anticipation of epic battles such as our stand at Phaedra’s Gate or the unruly Charge of the Peasant Rabble that carried us through the cold winter.
Those days are now but stories.  But new stories are waiting to be written.  Stories that we will write together.
Their Highnesses will be accompanying Us to War of the Phoenix, which is rising as a worthy successor to Estrella.  Will you join Us to stand beside Our eternal friends, the Outlands?

Calontir Council of Nobles meeting scheduled

Their Royal Majesties Agamemnon & Marie would like it known that They will be holding a Council of Nobles meeting at the upcoming Gryphon’s Fest event on September 30, time and place to be determined. They would invite all of those eligible to join Them. This meeting will be regarding Crown Tournament and Coronation dates.

For those who are unaware, here’s the definition of the Council of Nobles from Calontir Kingdom law:
Article XIII. The Council of Nobles
XIII.100 – Recognizing that the Crown may from time to time request and desire advice from those with experience in ruling, herewith shall be created the Council of Nobles of the Kingdom of Calontir. The Council of Nobles shall be composed of Their Royal Majesties, Their Royal Highnesses, Duchies, Counties, Viscounties, Past or Present Territorial Baronages of Calontir lineage and resident in the Kingdom. Others may be asked to attend at the Crown’s discretion. The Council shall meet at Their Majesties’ pleasure and shall consider such matters as the Crown may remand to its attention.

From Their Royal Majesties: Prepare for War!

Arise Calontir! The time of war comes swiftly. It is time to prepare.

We will be travelling to Atenveldt to help Our Cousins establish a new war in Their realm, the War of the Phoenix. And while We are not calling a muster for that war, there is an unofficial muster page here that you should fill out if you might be interested in going. That way We can attempt to get enough land for us to camp together.

After that is Winter War Maneuvers in Vatavia. Even if you are unable to attend Gulf Wars, your presence there will help prepare your friends who can go. His Royal Highness is Our armored combat general, and he has great plans. Come and find out what they are.

Finally, if you can go to Gulf Wars, or think you might, please sign the muster list for that here.
We look forward to seeing as many of you as can make it to these events.

From Their Royal Majesties: Mag Mor Baronial Investiture at Cattle Raids

Come these words from Queen Magdalena and King Hirsch

As was announced in Our Court yesterday at Kingdom Arts and Sciences, We are pleased to announce the investiture of Honorable Lord Saito Takauji and Lady Lelia Corsini as the Baronage of Mag Mor.  This will be done at the upcoming Cattle Raids.

We are so pleased with the work that Baron Vilhjálmr Hálftroll and Baroness Gyða have done keeping the Barony vibrant and active.  The happiness of the Barony is a clear sign of how well these lands have been managed.
